This is an auto review of the Ferrari LaFerrari, which is a super car, equipped with F1 technology.

Plenty of supercars were released in 2014 by the likes of Maserati, with the Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna, Lamborghini with the replacement for the well known and widely loved Gallardo, the Huracán, Bentley’s new Continental Flying Spur and McLaren’s new 650S, the Alfa Romeo 4C Spyder, Bugatti’s Veyron Legend Rembrandt…
The list goes on, and on, and on, and on…

But one that seems to stand out is the Ferrari LaFerrari, which translates from Italian to English as ‘Ferrari TheFerrari’. The LaFerrari equips the most extreme performance, higher than any other road-legal vehicle that Ferrari has ever produced. This is also Ferrari’s first ever hybrid.

The engine is a 6.3 litre V12, which pumps over 960 horsepower into the car. 0-100kph takes just under 3 seconds. The maximum speed you can go in this car is over 350kph, and that takes just 17 seconds to get to.

The interior of the LaFerrari was definitely meant to look and feel luxury, yet be widely familiar, as if in a F1 car, with the steering wheel having a pattern of carbon fibre on the top and bottom, an electric computerised speedometer, a large start/engine button, also like an F1 car and seats that plainly look F1 style, but are completely luxurious.

The exterior of the LaFerrari uses four types of carbon fiber – each making the LaFerrari lighter and lighter, weighing at only 1.255 tonnes.

Sadly, though, as this is one of Ferrari’s greatest creations, only 499 of these machines will be made and sold, each costing ₤1.5 million.
